In the 21st edition of Deloitte’s competition of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Central Europe, the winner was Polish company Packhelp S.A. whose mission is to democratize access to custom branded packaging. In this year’s ranking, there were companies from 9 countries in the top 50. There were over 300 applications, the average company growth was 1460%, while the largest growth was unbelievable 9077%. Companies were ranked based on revenue growth over four years (2016 to 2019).
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 in Central Europe is a programme that ranks innovative, high-growth and young companies in this part of Europe. The programme, which is now in its 21st year, ranks the 50 fastest growing public or private technology companies. Companies must have base-year operating revenues of €50,000 in 2016, 2017, 2018 and a current year operating revenue (2019) of at least €100,000.
Six Croatian companies have been included in the list – five of them in the main category, and one in the Rising Stars category.
Electrocoin d.o.o. achieved the best placement with a growth of 2617 % and 6th place. The company is a cryptocurrency brokerage and payment processor offering services like crypto-payment processing (PayCek.io), and partners with companies such as the Croatian Post to grow the cryptocurrency user base by making crypto transactions as simple as they get. Its core business involves selling and buying cryptocurrency from both retail and institutional clients, as well as facilitating cryptocurrency payments for merchants.
Bazzar.hr was placed 36th with a growth of 695 %. Bazzar. hr is the largest lifestyle marketplace in Croatia with more than 200.000 products. Their interactive, tailor-made and user-friendly e-commerce platform successfully continued to shift mindsets and change habits of more than 230.000 consumers in Croatia. Finally, continuous investment in innovation, new market expansions and elevated customer service practices will further the company’s goal to become the largest e-commerce platform in this part of Europe.
Agrivi, a global agriculture technology company, was ranked 39th with a growth of 640 %. The company provides the world’s most complete farm management software, available in 10+ languages, and Agrivi is trusted by thousands of customers from 100 countries worldwide. Agrivi farm management software helps farmers to plan, monitor and analyse all activities on their farm.
Include, a Croatian company that develops “Smart City“ street equipment, was placed 44th with a growth of 549 %. With more than 1,400 installations, its flagship products are solar-powered street benches that can charge smartphones, provide Wi-Fi and support street-lighting and environmental sensors, as well as more advanced features including e-bikes chargers, digital out-of-home advertising and CCTV systems. Their products are used by more than two million people in 54 countries every year.
Eco Mobile d.o.o. was ranked 47th with a growth of 530 %. The company is specialising in the development, production and implementation of advanced ICT solutions for waste management. As well as hardware, Eco Mobile also produces the Eco Mobile Cloud, which combines a complete hardware infrastructure and software. EcoMobile Cloud works on the SaaS principle, meaning users do not need to make any investments in computer equipment and programmes.
Speck was ranked 3rd in the Rising Star category with a growth of 1076 %. Speck is a design and development agency helping companies increase business value through functional software, innovative apps, and spotless digital experience.
